Acacia values community involvement, its in our motto of human service, it’s in empowering every brother to lead in which ever passion he has as it relates to campus and the community. Most importantly Acacia strives to do more than serve its brothers, it serves others by being men of action at places such as
Natalies Second Chance No Kill Dog Shelter
Shriner’s Hospital for Children
Local Elementary Schools
Purdue Dance Marathon
Local Homeless Shelters
Leading by Example
Acacian’s are especially proud of holding the title as one of the more active fraternities in a volunteering capacity. This pervious semester we averaged 14 service hours per brother compared to the Purdue fraternity wide average of 4.5 hours. Leading by example on campus we hope to motivate other fraternities and sororities to reach their service goals and welcome any joint volunteering ventures with other organizations.
